Please pray

Please pray for my beloved mother, Rita. She had a lumpectomy nine years ago when I had my mastectomy. They just discovered on a petscan that is is back to her spine. She had her first zometa treatment today. She is 86 and such a dear. Thanks and God Bless You All, Cathy

She is in my prayers, Cathy. I will also pray that she won't have nasty side effects from the Zometa. From what I have read, taking Aleve or something similar will help her feel better; less aches, fever, etc.

God bless...

Cathy,
Of course! I am so sorry that your Mom has to go through this.

Hopefully her treatments will stop it in it's tracks.
Best of Luck and will add her to my prayers.

Kind Regards,
jean

I'll also include your mom in my prayers. For the record, I have a friend who is in her mid 70's who was originally dx stage IV with bone mets. She had radiation which slapped that cancer right into remission for now going on past 4 years. She has also been getting Zometa and is doing great!

I'm hoping the same happens for your mom.

Best,
Chris

So sorry your Mom has to deal with this. Fortunately, there are now therapies that can help. I will add you both to my "people with cancer" prayers.
Good luck to both of you.
