Hi everyone,

I read somewhere (didn't take a note of where)that women who smoke or who have smoked are more likely to have er- her2+ breast cancer as smoking depletes estrogen.Just wondered if many of us had smoked.I did but it was a long time ago.
God Bless, Maggie

I smoked, but dr said there was no relation.
There is, however, a link (supposedly) between smoking and cervical cancer.

I read the same information and wondered about it. I smoked from age 19 until age 31. I am 43 years old now. Diagnosed at age 42. From the answers received thus far, the results seem mixed. Who knows if smoking influenced our Her2 status? Unfortunately the doctors don't know.
