Update On My Employer

I'M STILL HANGING IN THERE AT MY LITTLE BANK TELLER JOB. WE HAD A MEETING THIS MORNING AND IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT OUR BRANCH MANAGER HAS RESIGNED. THIS PERSON WAS THE CAUSE OF MOST OF MY STRESS REGARDING MY JOB. THE LAST FEW WEEKS THINGS HAVE BEEN OKAY---BUT I NEVER FELT VERY SECURE. I DO FEEL SOME RELIEF KNOWING THIS PERSON HAS QUIT. I WISH HER WELL BUT AM GLAD SHE IS MOVING ON.

Sounds like this may be in your favor! Things happen for a reason and hopefully, he took that stress you were feeling with him and he looses it before his next job. Its good that you did hang in there and may life be more pleasant for you. hugs, Sandy

I think the manager leaving is in your favor big time. You will be starting over again with a new manager. For example, I am a sales manager with 9 sales reps who report to me.

When I first got the job, the prior sales manager was starting a process on firing one of the reps (who they claimed was also working as a rep for another company). This rep denied everything and we started over. Two years later, I did fire this rep (because he was also working for another company) but it did start everything over again - and this rep could have made right with the start over too (but didn't).

So - you go girl. Use this opportunity to be the best as it is a start over for you even though you didn't do anything wrong.

Kindest regards

Becky
