Re: Careful with those peas.

Ok! This reminds me of a family story about my Great Aunt Frainey, who as a child slipped a corn kernel into her nose whereupon it sprouted in the moist environment of her nasal passage. When she began to complain of pain her intrepid, homesteading mother looked up her nose and spied the green culprit. She yanked it out with her trusty tweezers! My mother used this well worn tale to admonish us against placing objects in any of our various orifices as children. It worked mostly, accept for that dime I swallowed when I was 6.....

Re: Careful with those peas.

When I was young, my Mother and my siblings always cautioned me not to swallow watermelon seeds (or papaya seeds, or any other fruit seeds.) "It will sprout and grow inside of your belly," they claimed. I guess they were right.
