My Last Herceptin Treatment

Hi all, Tuesday was my last herceptin treatment! Hooray. I went on my VICTORY cruise a little early and got back Sunday just before my last treatment. Had a great time celebrating. Thanks for all of your support. Kool

Mine was last Friday (Sept 29). I guess around New Year's I should have a chat about "Life after Herceptin" so we can all compare how we physically feel (and we can do another update later, after that). I am hoping it is easier to lose weight and have alittle more stamina.

Congratulations to both of you.

Sounds like several of us will be comparing notes as the Herceptin gets out of our systems. Congrats everyone. Kool

My last one was 3 weeks ago, I am waiting to see if there are some positive changes to come my way when I get far enough out from my last infusion. It would be nice to have fingernails again, mine are so thin and nasty! But, it is very much worth it to have a drug like herceptin to give us such a different prognosis from what it would be without it.

Congrats! My last herceptin was last month. I've had to stop due to low Muga scans. I can't have anymore, but at least I got 8 months in. I can't wait to see if I"ll start feeling like myself again!

Congratulations to all of you who have just recently finished Herceptin. It'll be interesting to see how long the side effects your've experienced, if any, linger.
