Progression of DCIS?

I read a post further down asking if DCIS should be renamed to exclude the term carcinoma. It got me thinking and asking questions! Does anyone have the answer to these questions?

If DCIS is found radiologically (mammogram)and is grades 1 or 2, what is the expected time frame to invasiveness?

If DCIS is found radiologically (mammogram) and is grade 3, what is the expected time frame to invasiveness?

Does the size of the DCIS or the (radiologic vs breast exam) dictate the sucess of treatment. What I mean is that I know of a woman who had 2.4 cm DCIS but it could not be felt. And I know of another woman who had 1 cm but it was very clearly felt. So which one is more likely to become invasive? Both? Just very curious

It is thought that necrosis is a factor in DCIS becoming invasive but are there other factors of DCIS that are also indicators of invasive components?

What can I say? I am full of questions today!
