Wink !!! News from Cancer Research meeting in April - AACR

Hello Everyone –
Sorry to be slow in getting to you some interesting studies from the AACR (American Association for Cancer Research) annual meeting that some of us attended in April.

Finally found the abstracts that Schoolteacher is interested in and will try to post a few others if I have time before my trip on Monday. Hope you can find time to look at these.

There were a lot of studies presented on Prevention Research and development of new agents from natural ingredients. I cannot interpret these, but think they indicate some of the direction the research is going.

To view the abstracts, go to http://www.abstractsonline.com/viewe...582CE7A0988%7D

and you can search by the number at the beginning of the study title. Just put the number in the search box.

(The titles below will not connect to the abstract!)

#2994 A dose response study of omega 3 fatty acids in women at high risk for breast cancer

#3001 A phase I prevention trial of grape seed extract as a natural aromatase inhibitor in healthy post-menopausal women at risk for breast cancer

#1332 DNA promoter methylation mediates silencing of the tumor suppressor klotho in breast cancer cells

#2946 Anti-cancer activity of a new non-steroidal anti-angiogenic microtubule disruptor in breast cancer
