National Cancer Survivor's Day - June 5

I haven't been on the board in a while...Just taking time to think of my "sisters" and wish you a celebration of life tomorrow, wherever you are!

I have spent the day relishing the Lilly Oncology on Canvas art book from the 2010 competion, of which I was an entrant...There are some amazing narratives paired with beautiful artwork!

Reflecting on what life has brought me in the 2 years since diagnosis...Crazy thing...I've started adding jogging to my exercise bootcamp routine.

I participated in a 1-mile fun run and am starting to figure out how I can run the Susan G Komen event in September....Run--Imagine!

Re: National Cancer Survivor's Day - June 5

Tomorrow is my one year cancerversary, so I believe this is a good sign.

I wish us all many years of celebrating this day.

Re: National Cancer Survivor's Day - June 5

Congratulations to both of you!

Patrice, good luck to your running project. Don't forget to give us a report after the event.

June 5 also happened to be the birthday of a family member. I wasn't feeling well enough to go out, so we had to settle with a box of 'pineapple' newton in place of a birthday cake.
