Bleeding from the mets?

I have a question here please... I have been having some bleeding from the mets. not profuse, but enough to get my attention.

another question I am on Tykerb, xeloda.. my finger nails are splitting and little cuts on the sides of my fingers and my feet.

anybody else have these problems? I called my Onc. spoke to his nurse... didn't call me back, so I don't know if I should be worried or not.
thanks for any replys.. Charlotte

Re: Bleeding from the mets?

Hi Charlotte,

I am sorry that I don't know have info to share re: bleeding mets. I hope that your onc can come up with some kind of topical tx to keep them from getting too uncomfortable. I am sure that you are keeping them loosely covered up with a dressing. I remember going through rads and getting a bit weepy. Frustrating with changing under clothes.

I hope that you will get relief very soon for these darned skin mets. There must be something to help.

Hugs,
Lexi
