exciting find

Posted fully in articles of interest but had to share here:

"doxorubicin followed by zoledronic acid
after a 24-hour interval brought breast tumour growth almost completely to
a standstill."

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7558327.stm

I don't know if her2 is an issue with this. But I love the fact that they say it could be accelerated into use because they are pre-existing drugs. Same in US?

Great news!

Have never heard of it, but I'm sure it will cross the pond fairly quickly if this trial is successful.

Adriamycin followed by Reclast/Zometa.
Wonder if that is usable by those of us that have already had Adriamycin?
