My name is Dr. Kathryn Becker and I work for Abbott Molecular, the developer of the PathVysion HER-2 DNA Probe Kit to identify patients with the HER-2 gene.

As many of you know, the need for diagnostic tests is extremely important in identifying particular subsets of cancer patients. Without these tests, many of these patients would never know if they are missing a treatment option that could improve their lives.

Abbott Molecular is dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer. One way to do this is by sharing patient stories with the media (such as a newspaper, broadcast news show, blog or magazine). We are currently looking for Herceptin patients who went on the treatment as a result of the PathVysion HER-2/neu gene diagnostic test and would be willing to share their story with us.
