Re: Totally random thoughts and comments

My sister saw Page in concert in Orlando a couple of years ago. He made it through and she did not complain that she did not get her money's worth.

Re: Totally random thoughts and comments

John Madden did retire. As you may know, he had a serious fear of flying. He had to drive from one end of the country to other as many as 17 times a year and he said the travel was finally too much for him.

Rumor has it they are coming out with a "manscaper" attachment and back trimmer extender pole. For safety, texting will not be allowed when those functions are activated.

Smile Christmas Blessing/Miracle

Hi guys... hope I am putting this thread in the right column???
Hello ya'll.. Normally I have only bad and worse than bad news to report.. I am of course having a big time problem, which I won't go into now... maybe later.. I would like to report to the gang that my ejection fraction rate ( has hovered around 25-30%) since 04, .. is now at a high of 55-60%.(thank you Lord) I say that with sincere meaning. I was in the hospital for 3 days, and they kept a monitor on me nonstop..my cardiologist came by on the 3rd. day, and as he was leaving my room , I asked him, what was my ejection fraction rate was..(fearing the worst). He looked at me and smiled and said it is around 55-60%.. I said,,, that is a Chrismas miracle..!!!! he nodded his head and said something along the lines of ,.... Yes, and are you still taking Coreg?? I said yes, he said , Coreg has been shown to help the ejection fraction rate... I smiled then and said, I prefer to think it is a Christmas Miracle..
so if you have been having some difficulty with your heart as I have been,This is truly a blessing..I will talk to my Onc. and see if other avenues are open to me now!!... I have been smiling since Christmas.. will give the gang an update on my husband in another thread.. He is still hanging on by his fingernails.. awating a lung doner...

Re: Totally random thoughts and comments

I have two little red squirrels at my home. My granddaughter calls them chipmunks. She asked me if one was Alvin. I told her I thought it was Simon. She said "Marna,(her name for me) it must be Feodore. Simon wears glasses!!" Tell me what's not to love about these squirrels? Everytime I see them I call them Alvin and Feodore. Obviously it isn't Simon because neither of them wear glasses!!

Re: Totally random thoughts and comments

My neighbor's kid went off to college last year. He had always been a strict vegan. Well, he was so broke in college and never had money for food so he became a "freegan".

Re: Totally random thoughts and comments

I just read that there is a Federal law that prohibits the commercial mixing of beer and wine. Do we really need a law like that? Wouldn't the human sense of taste prevent the mixing of beer and wine all by itself? Maybe the Congress should look at laws to ban anchovy ice cream if they have so much time on their hands.
