Off Topic-Need your votes

Hello everyone,

I am participating in my second half marathon in about a week in Ft. Lauderdale. They're running a contest titled "why I run" sponsored by JetBlue. I was picked as one of the ten finalist which the public gets to vote on.

If you could please go to www.a1amarathon.com and scroll down to the JetBlue heading you'll be able to vote for one of the 10 stories. Of course, I would be grateful if you vote for mine. Voting ends 2/13 at noon.

Thanking all of you for taking time to do this and to Joe for allowing me to post this request.

Sincerely,
Ita (Gricel Shulman)

Thank you Donna. That's one thing I have to admit. If it wasn't for BC I wouldn't have gotten into running. When life give you lemons, make lemonade. When life give you breast cancer, go running! See how far behind I am. Oh well, it's worth a try.

Go Go Go

Go Go Go Gricel (Ita) - What a fantastic story and what a fantastic life you lead. How awesome to run the way you do and then to envision those cancer cells exiting your body through your pores. I LOVE that.

Come on ladies. Go Vote for Gricel. She's catching up in votes but she isn't in the lead. WE can put her their.

GO VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy your marathon. God Bless you "sister."

I just voted for you. I am not at the half marathon part yet although I run better at longer jaunts. I am in three 5Ks (March 13 - Construction Challenge in Las Vegas, March 29 - Delaware & Raritan Canal Watch 5K Fun Run in Titusville, NJ and June 1 - Run of the Mill 5K for the Makara Foundation in Stockton, NJ).

Run, run, run - I run for the same reason as you - I won't let it catch me!

You ladies are kicking tushee

Well, now I'm number one. I am truly touched by your outpouring of support.

Thank you, thank you thank you!!

You can only vote once, but for some reason my computer allowed me to vote twice. My DH said it has to do with the IP address. If you can disconnect and reconnect with a different address, which the computer does automatically, then you you vote all day long. But I think most home computers only have one address.

Thank you all,

Ladies,

According to one of my friends you can vote once a day. My computer won't let me do that.

If you ladies and several gentlemen can try I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
