Headaches and Neck Pain on Zoladex and Tamoxifen

Hi,

My Girlfriend has been on Tamoxifen for 15 months and Zoladex for 8 months. Over the last month she has been experiencing bad headaches and neck pain. She said it feels like muscle pain.

The headaches haven't been constant. There have been no other problems.

I know a lot of people who have the treatments individually experience these problems, so I guess I know low estrogen can also cause it as well.

Thanks

Has anyone else had this when taking Tamoxifen and Zoladex together?

Thanks

Re: Headaches and Neck Pain on Zoladex and Tamoxifen

I only took it for six weeks so didn't really notice any side effects, in general though once a person has had BC it's usual to have any ache, pain or symptom checked out more fully if it persists for more than two to three weeks so your GF should see her Dr about it.
