New Security in Place - Spammers
We have suffered two spam attacks so far in the past 5 days which has required that we put new security measures in place.
Any new member who registers will be sent an email which must be acknowledged before they will be given full member privilages. This will delay new registrations somewhat but I do check my email several times a day.
In the meantime do not open any links in any private messages that you receive unless you do know the sender.
Warmest Regards
Joe

Thank you Joe. I was puzzled when I opened the spam and then tried to check on the sender. I will be more careful next time. As you are aware, I check this site almost daily and leave with a wealth of encouragement and hope. I recently learned that herceptin is no longer working for me and I am now waiting to find out if I qualify for the Tykerb. There are so many contributors to this site, and I thank you all. Regards, Diana.

spam
Joe and friends,
I had two private messages that looked like spam. I thot spam only came in a can.
One was from Luna 47....and said banned
One was from Elizabeth 47 and referred to a link of tinyurl......
By the way...someone just stole all of the cash from a friends 101 yr old mothers checking account. Good news the bank replaced all the money. Bad news is idenity theft did not exist in the olden days. Spammers did not exist in the olden days either.
Pox on all of the spammers. Thank you Joe for protecting us.

Just happy to report to you that my computer and the site are in perfect sync once again. It recognizes me, and I can navigate from thread to thread. LIFE IS GOOD. Thanks for your help. Wish I could help you, as a computer whiz, but I am a big fizzle in that dept...
