pain meds and nausea

any one have any suggestions for nausea with pain meds. mom has bone mets. in pain. pain causes her nausea and sometimes even constipation. she took an oxycodin (sp).

Gosh, pain management and medication is so important and needs fine tuning. Have you spoken to her doctor/doctorS to coordinate what she receives and how to counteract side effects? I was given Compazine for nausea but it all depends on how it interacts with other drugs alread being taken. Ginger ale is an easy suggestion but she probably requires something stronger.
I recommend a consult with the doctors before the weekend rolls around and they disappear.

5/10 mistakenly dx with lung cancer. Middle rt lobe removed!
Aromasin started 5/10
