Reporting in!

Thanks to all the prayers, the news is pretty good about the angiogram yesterday. The doctor did do it all without anesethia which I wasn't too happy about, but the news is good that he didn't have to do a stent or say I need more heart surgery. He did say that since my last angiogram in March 2008 I evidently had another heart attack, because the lowest tip of my heart is now not functioning. The heart can manage without it, though. I can think of several times when I had chest pain that might have been a heart attack, but since I am allergic to the ER I guess it got better on its own. He also said I had had a clot in my heart but it was now almost gone, which is good news. Of course I have to be on some new meds to thin my blood and hopefully keep it all working fine. So I am back home with a very sore inner right groin but I will keep on keeping on! Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes. When I was in the cath lab I kept thinking of all the wonderful people praying for me, and I knew everything would all be fine! I love you and appreciate you, fellow warriors! Hugs, Tricia

Tricia glad to hear that you home, and that things went well.

I sorry read to that they said you had, had another heart attack, and that the lower part of your heart is not functioning.

OUCHIE on them not using the anesethia.

Please take things slow and take care of your self. Prayer's always going out for you.

Once a fighter, always a fighter, right?

Whether it is that Big C or some other major problem, health or otherwise. Glad you got some mostly good news - except for the part about another heart attack.

"Silent" heart attacks are our pumping station's "cancer." Many of us have this sneaky type of heart attack and don't know it without a test such as you had. My father's heart was in worse shape than anyone knew as he had damage to the back of his heart that was only apparent during the bypass surgery.

With that in mind - please go to the emergency or go to your regular doctor immediatly if you feel bad.

Tricia,

You're just the bravest, Girl! I'm thinkin' you're like the Timex energizer bunny; you take a lickin' and keep on tickin'! I will pray you heal remarkably fast. I'm so glad things were not worse than they were. I suppose that is how we all have to view things these days, maybe not so great, but could be worse! Take care. Blessings!

Those prayers do wonders!

Tricia, I am so happy to come on this evening and see your post. I felt so bad that I didn't know what was happening to you. Praise God that you are well. Good to hear you didn't need a stent.
You are always in my prayers and please, please , lose that allergy that you have to the e.r. Next chest pain, get yourself in there.
I'll post my updates when I know something about the scans.
Take care, my buddy.
Love

What great news Tricia and I loved your quote..."seeing as I'm allergic to the ER!" Hahaha!

Just goes to show..........when it's our time to go it's our time to go. We can do all we want for ourselves (and we should) but when the "big guy" says it's time....it's time! Obviously, it isn't yours yet.....and to that I say .....THANK GOD!

Love to you ...
