Was your mother hippy? - Page 2

My mother was skinny as a rail....no hippy in her! I was as hippyish in highschool as my parents would allow. I wish I had been in college in the 70's like Joe - I think I would have had a lot of fun. However, I was a late life baby...my mother waited 10 years to have me (she is always reminding me of how much I was wanted :-).

not ONLY was she hippy (literally VERY large bones and teeny tiny waist...weighs only 98 lbs and most she ever weighed was 130 when she had me...she's 5'4"), but she was 32 when she had me.

My mom was jewish, but not hippie, though she did attend a LOve-In with her hippie cildren, all four of us, in LA back in the 60's. And I still am a hippie at heart....peace activist, environmentalist, etc. I used to live in a commune in the 70's up in No. California. Now, that was fun! Love and Peace, Vickie
