In case you hadn't read my reply further down, I wanted to repeat it for you. You CAN get the Neulasta shot at the same time as chemo. I have done it 4 times or so. Therefore, I've never missed chemo from low white blood cells. The Neupogen is basically the same drug from the same company, but as you know it takes more than 1 shot. I guess the Neulasta is the new, improved version. But also the expensive version. My insurance companies have never rejected it, though. Best of luck in whatever you do.
