Angry Jaundice - help advise needed

Hi

I started Gemzar-Cisplatin Tuesday due to progression with my Liver Mets, for the first time in two years since dealingwith Liver Mets my eyes are yellow and so is my skin, my eyes look awful and i look scary.
How long does it take to look normal again after chemo starts does anyone have any experience with this, its freaking me out...... is this my liver shutting down?

Please advise.

Jaundice is a clear signal that your liver functions are in trouble. Go see your onc asap.

I had severe graft verses host disease of the liver after my bone marrow transplant for acute myeloid leukemia. My weekly blood tests were showing that my bilirubin count was rising. I was 12 times the norm. It was awful and VERY scary. I turned an horrible greenish color and my eyes were glowing yellow. My mishap was due to my body rejecting the transplant, but with proper treatment, after several weeks my liver healed and I slowly lost the green/yellow look. I truly understand your freaking out!!! PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE call your doctor as soon as possible!! Your counts should be watched on a regular basis and this should not be ignored!!
