My X-ray report results - MRI 4/21

Multilevel degenerative changes most prominent at C6-C7 where there is bilateral uncovertebral joint hypertrophy resulting in at least moderate bilateral neural foraminal stenosis.

My Cervical spine has been an issue, and I found my MRI from 2006. It did say I had two cysts 1 2mm and another 3 mm which never really was discussed BUT it was also on my left side of something NOT on the right my good side of body....UGH.

My thinking on this is when I had my last surgery for my DIEP flap is I just really inflammed it with the positioning of my head!! Can I EVER BE NORMAL AND not HAVE A PROBLEM. 3 more months and I have had nothing BUT appts and health issues!! I am supposed to be done, and OMG if they say I have to have surgery I am going to lay on the floor and cry like a MAD woman and they just can put me in the looney bin.....Or if I am FREAKING UNIQUE again and that happens to be rare cancer in my cervical spine.....Then, well.....I am writing make a wish something foundation and taking a darn trip!!!

Re: My X-ray report results - MRI 4/21

We hear you loud and clear!! There seems some points where our life is lived in medical land. One thing leads to another. I remember thinking that ailments just lined up, waiting their turn at me! And just because we've had cancer, we are not immune to "normal" maladies although I think we should be! But eventually things settle down and a sense of control returns
Meantime, where would that trip be? Take it when news is good!
Keep the faith?

Re: My X-ray report results - MRI 4/21

Man of man....I wrote back and I hit submit and it said I was not logged in.....I guess it was not meant to be read.

I would take a trip where I had no worries; paying medical bills, having time off with pay, time off without guilt, just to sit in a really warm place with beautiful skies and just breath and everything would be just fine.

BUT now like always I will not be able to do any of it until after January next year when my time starts over. Last year I had to borrow a week of vacation for surgery from myself (and my work made a new policy and co-workers could donate time and that is how I got paid to finish last year). Now, this year I used my time for this last surgery, doctors appts and time off work after surgery. I have 2 appts this week a dentist appt Thursday at 4:30 after work I lost a stupid filling too. An eye exam at 5:00 because I used my last set of contacts, and I know my vision has gotten worse. Then next Monday an MRI at 4:30. My appts are all in Illinois and they are an hour behind us so that helps when scheduling them.

Re: My X-ray report results - MRI 4/21

I know you said that in jest. But I wondered where the place would be. Now that you have described it, try to visualize it Go somewhere quiet, turn off the recordings in your head, and imagine that warm place with the clear skies. Take deep breaths of the fresh air. Try to just be mindful of that feeling of escape. It can be a powerful tool I try to practice it when stressed
