Question Vitamin D3 DROPS - question #2

While I am on the subject of vitamin D3, I was trying to find previous threads in this site, but the Search Function says that D3 is not a long enough search word so will try here.

I was looking for posts concerning D3 in drops form, which I know has been mentioned in the past.

I have started using Carlson Ddrops - vitamin D3 1000IU per drop - 1 drop right after dinner each night.

I take a D3 with Calcium in the morning and was hoping to be getting enough calcium with my evening meal to work with the D3 drops.

Any thoughts, Tanya or any else?

Re: Vitamin D3 DROPS - question #2

StephN: Go to the Dr. Mercola.com website. Search under "Vitamin D Tests." There is some really good information about supplementation of Vitamin D3 especially if you have or have had cancer. He also mentions Vitamin D3 drops. Hope that helps.

Re: Vitamin D3 DROPS - question #2

Interesting --- I am wondering if we need the drops if we get natural sunlight daily - like an hour or 5? I live in Sardegna and hoping that I don't need to be taking any supplements as I get lots of natural sunshine here....????

Wink Re: Vitamin D3 DROPS - question #2

Karen,
You can ask for a blood test which will tell you your vitamin D levels. I live in Hawaii, but I was still low on vitamin D, so I take supplements. My vitamin D levels are going up slowly, so I am also considering vitamin D shots.
