Sherry,

Pierson is in my prayers right now. Prayers that he will ask Jesus into his heart and that he will feel peace and love and light around him. I am sorry that you are hurting but what a wonderful and sweet sister you are. He is very lucky to have you in his life.

Hugs and Prayers,
Lexi

Sherry,

Have y'al sought second opinion from other docoters? The mother of two of my church members (both of her daughters' families are founding members of our small congregation) was given 3 months at the end of her lung cancer treatment. The family took her to M. D. Anderson in Houston and she lived 3 more years - attending Sunday services occasionally and gave us a really amazing testimony a couple of months before she passed away.

Medical research has shown the reason behind "positive thinking" type of healing power - endorphin. It is human nature to avoid the "unavoidable". But I would think that some counseling and action may be in store.

Sherry, you and Pierson have my prayers. It is tough. We went through lung cancer with my mother at the end. I know it is hard. When we had to take my mother to the hospital for the last time, I knew she knew it was hard for us and she gave us this smile, I can still see it, and she told us she was fine.

Oh Sherry, I know exactly how you feel---It's not easy. Life isn't always fair. Please know that we are all beside you praying. May God provide a healing miracle or surroud your brother in his love and comfort in preparing him for his journey. And may God bless you and give you the strength to stay by your brother's side to lessen his fears and provide warmth and security.
Hugs,
Joanne

Sherry,
So sorry to hear about your brother. Hope your mom is being more understanding.
What about books on tape and nice music for your brother to listen to? I know I found that soothing when I was in hospital.
hugs and love

My father didn't like the dreams he had the last few months before his death either. But something must have changed toward the end, because he said he wasn't afraid and he smiled more. I hope that "something" changes for your brother. I'm kind of left brained about these things and want proof; however, I hope that angels or family members on the other side will let him know that all is well.

Thanks again all. Jackie, my brother has been at MD Anderson for the past 6 months. They have tried everything on him, including a test drug and nothing has worked. He was on the hardest combo of chem known, is what the doctors there said. It made him terribly sick. I saw him today and he ate a little and told me he loved me, then he went back to sleep. I appreciate all your prayers and hope he does get some relief and enters into a better world..sherryg
