Smile

G'day Mate!
Been a while and I was wondering how you are.
So glad you posted for us to see that we can get rid of mets and take care of ourselves.

My most positive thoughts for clean scans. Do you get markers checked??

All clear until treated cerebellum spot showing activity on Jan 2006 brain MRI & brain PET
Brain surgery on Feb 9, 2006 - no cancer, 100% radiation necrosis - tumor was still dying
Continue as NED while on Herceptin & quarterly Zometa
Fall-2006 - off Zometa - watching one small brain spot (scar?)
2007 - spot/scar in brain stable - finished anticoagulation therapy for clot along my port-a-catheter - 3 angioplasties to unblock vena cava

Smile markers

Hi steph
I get Ca 15 done every 3 months. I know if I take extra Q 10 (300 mg) I can make the marker go down..but then I dont sleep well.

Her 2 serum isn't available in Australia..I had it done in the UK after 4-5 weeks off herceptin and it was 7.6.

cheers
jackie
