her 2 serum blood test result

Hi everyone
I am here in London visiting my sister and I was able to get a her 2 serum blood test done. Cost £115. The result was 7.6 which is great. I had not had heceptin for 4 weeks when I had the test. (I have been in remission for over a year with one 15 mm spot on the liver discovered 16 months ago.) When I am back in Australia I plan to send frozen blood direct to Quest Diagnostic every 3 months for a test.
Those of you who get this test done who are Stage 4 have you noticed any variation on when you get the test done? eg: do your numbers go up the longer you are off herceptin?

so u have a metastatic breast cancer ?
and the tumor from you're breast goes to you're liver ?

was you're IHC test positive for HER-2 ?was it 2+ or 3+

in my country there is no blood test for responding to Herceptin . just CT Scan .

Just to let you know that Jackie has passed away so won't be able to reply.

In England most onc's also do not do blood tests for breast cancer and we also rely on scans.
