A favor for anyone attending next week SABCS conference.

Hello,

Is anyone here an attendee of next week SABCS conference? May I aks a favor? This year the conference organizer will not release the abstracts to the public until Jan 1 2012. Conference attendees however can access the abstracts next week.

If you are a conference attendee, could you please allow me to access the abstracts or search the abstracts for a couple of "things" for me? I am expecting a treatment change (hopefully I am wrong) for my wife this month and would like to incorporate the latest finding.

Thank you very very much,

Nguyen

I'll be in San Antonio next week and we will get in touch with you when we know how to access. What specifically are you interested in?

Re: A favor for anyone attending next week SABCS conference.

Hello Sassy,

Many thanks for responding.

I am looking for data to let us decide on a few ideas:

1_ Is threre any new endocrine agent?
2_ Her next treatment will be either Herceptin-DM1 or Lapatinib+Capecitabine. Are there any new data to aid in select of one over the other as the next step from the current treatment (Herceptin+Lapatinib+Femara+Zometa)
3_ Do we keep Femara in the "next" treatment
4_ There're data indicating change in hormone and/or her2 receptors status from primary to distant mestastatic tumours for a small percentage of patients. Is there any data indicating in changes in these receptors status for mestastatic tumours after being treated for so "long".

Usually, after abstracts of each conference are available, I read through all of them to ferret out answers (hint of answers) to questions that I have. This is quite a bit time consuming, so it's o.k if you can't.

Thanks so much
