Update after Gamma Knife

Well, I had the Gamma Knife performed at Cedars-Sinai on Monday. This is the brain lesion that was treated in Jan 06 via X-knife, and surgically removed in March 07.

It had grown an additional 1 mm in 10 days, it was 2 mm on the 14th of September and the pre Gamma MRI on the 24th of Sept, showed it to be 3 mm.

In addition, it had grown a "tail" which means it was getting ready to burrow down into my brain. Scary stuff! It was almost like it was an extra-terrestrial invador, starting to try to burrow down at only 3 mm is pretty amazing.

I guess this little stubborn brain mets lesion is really aggressive and so far has eluded fully being captured. Send your positive thoughts and prayers my way that this latest Gamma Knife treatment will take care of it once and for all...
