I was wondering how many of you get copies of lab results, scans, etc? I haven't gotten any, but would like to.

I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, get copies of my labs and scans from my doctor.I feel that your are your own best advocate so this is extremely important. After a while you will start knowing your body and recognizing any changes in blood work, if you see something on the scan reports that they failed to tell you. I don't mean this in a way to make anyone paranoid, but in doing this, I have kept a very close eye on my recurrences (even before doctors may have thought there was need to be concerned) and have caught them early in time. I am very pro-active in this regard. You are entitled to these reports, they are yours.

Good luck

I have copies of everything from day 1 of diagnosis. Have never paid any fees for them and no questions asked. Hugs, Sandy

I too always get all reports and comments to my file. I have requested that I be cc'd on everything so that I get it at the same time as the doctors. That way when I go in to discuss the latest I've had a chance to digest the topic.
