Smile Ways to express gratitude and thanks

Hi

Wonderful sisters. I am wondering about special ways to say thank you to those who have given us prayers, kindness, gifts of money. I know that once it is known we are battling this ugly disease people graciously open up their hearts to us.

Do you have any ideas on expressing thanks to my co-workers who have taken a collection up for me to offset some of my medical bills? I will traveling for an upcoming surgery that will occur out of town. I, unfortunately, will not be able to thank each and every contributor in person and in addition, I don't know of every contributor as it was a group contribution, but I want to really let them know how grateful I am for their thoughtfullness, their prayers and their gifts of money. They have been extrodinarily generous to me. Surely I will send general thank you card, but might you have additional ideas beyond that?

I would be grateful for ideas or suggestions.

Keeping the Faith

How about publishing a personal letter on your local newspaper to thank you all of those who have supported you?

Hugs worked great for me. Probably best to wait til you're done with chemo!!! Hugs work both way so you just have to keep doing it for it to continue!!!
Love & hugs

Re: Ways to express gratitude and thanks

Paty and Marlys

Thank you so very much for the ideas. I am grateful. What I did do was send an all staff email with my heartfelt thanks and then put together a basket full of different kind of candies and put them in the office with a thank you card and a picture of me attached. Apparently, per the secretary, the candy was very well received. I had so much fun putting that basket together. I work with a wonderful, kind and caring staff.

Thank you again, friends, for such nice suggestions.
