Wink Re: Acupunture and "sick energy"

Good for your oncologist !! It is great that he/she wants to communicate with other members of your health care team.
My naturopath/acupuncturist/Chinese medicine doc always tells me what is in the things he prescribes and answers all my questions about those things and any other concerns I may have. I don't take anything or do anything without learning about that product or medical procedure. My medical professionals know this.
My naturopath is also willing to communicate with the other members of my health care team. They have referred people to him occassionally.
All licensed medical professionals including M.D's, acupuncturists, naturopaths, DO's, chiropractors, doctors of Chinese medicine and every other medical specialty can be checked to see if there are any issues related to that person. Some states will disclose information about medical professionals. There are also professional medical societies and associations where a person can check on the background of a medical professional. If all else fails there are always sites like healthgrades.com and drscore.com.
Patients can also make complaints about unethical practices or problems related to the medical care we receive. You may not want to go this route. However, if you are considering seeing another acupuncturist in the future you might want to check the background of that person before you make an appointment.
You are wise to be concerned about the tea and acupuncturist. I would be too !!
Take good care of yourself.

Re: Acupunture and "sick energy"

Whew!
Last night I had one of my most relaxing sleeps yet!! Thank you ALL!! I had been having the tendency to wake up super early and having these issues enter my mind. Not good.
I feel a whole lot better!
I did NOT want chronic stress and worry. That is enough to lower one's immunity.

I am willing to go 110% to prevent another recurrance. Heck, I had stage I and theoretically had all the CA removed....but JUST in case of any microcircullating cells, I did the chemo. When she told me THAT story, my reaction was to jump on that too. JUST in case kind of thing.
BUTwithout knowing what it is I am consuming, who knows the countereffects it may have on my current meds, who knows if it will eventually shutdown my own natural immune system, and who knows what other side effects may occur.
Lunch break, got to get back to work.
Thanks everyone. Helps me a lot.
