Are old threads popping up as new?

Hi,

I just saw a staging poll created by Astrid in 2006 and people have posted to it today (Nov 19, 2010). Last week I saw a thread of about 2006 also that presented like it was new and then I saw the date. Are these threads somehow reactivated? Or are the dates getting mixed up? Just curious.

Catherine, if someone does a search and then replies to that thread it can bring it back up, so maybe thats what happened?

Catherine, I think people use the 'search' bar to find a topic
and when an old thread comes up, they post to it.

Thank you for the explanation. That makes total sense. What ever became of Astrid's poll? Was it only for metastis?
