Is this the 7 year itch????

Well, I hope not, but I am happy to say I have made the 7 year mark, something the gloom and doom Drs. told me would not happen when i was diagnosed 7 years ago, and not able to get Herceptin because I was stage 1...well 1 1/2 years later, as stage IV I got the herceptin, am still getting it, and I believe a big part of why I am still here & fighting.....although much of the credit needs to go to this wonderful group...who always keeps me focused, picks me up when I am down, and can make me laugh when I have nothing to laugh about... Thank You
YOU ARE ALL THE BEST MEDICINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Sheila,

Thank you for the update and it is great to hear from you.

Wow, you are an inspiration and symbolic of many of the people on this board. I know that I have learned so much from you over the years. You lead by example and if true character is exhibited during times of stress - well you passed that test with flying colors.

To me you are an example of intelligence, perseverance, hope, beauty and strength. Keep on keeping on....

Hi Sheila,

I see posts here from those newly diagnosed with or without mets who don't know what to think about the future, but from one 7-year-out to another, your post made me grin from ear to ear.

Much love,

A.A.
