Hi Barb:

I think that you should be able to get the infusion in your local hospital. My oncologist (who is based out of Vancouver) told me that it was their job to make the herceptin infusion as convenient as possible to the participants of the trial. I asked about such things as travel out of the country and other such things.

On the trial information that you were given on the last page is a series of contact numbers one of which is the chief trial organizer (she is on mat leave right now). But phone the number and ask for her replacement and get some details. From what I understand you should be able to take most the infusions in your own town.

Good luck. This trial is about to close so don't waste any time!
