Adjuvant herceptin without chemo

Dear All,

Has anyone received herceptin alone (in combination with hormone or radiation) as a first line post-operative treatment but without chemotherapy? According to studies herceptin+chemotherapy showed good results compared to chemotherapy alone. My mom received only one session of chemotherapy and was switched to herceptin because she beared chemo very badly. Is herceptin alone as effective as herceptin AND chemotherapy for an adjuvant treatment?

I have been using only herceptin since 1999 with fabulous results...wouldn't do it any other way.

Good luck to your mom...it may have been her lucky day when she could NOT tolerate "chemo"....smile.
