are you all still getting mugas every four months? was hoping they no longer require that. my onc. forgot to schedule it, due this month. i guess i should remind him but are they really necessary?
I've been getting them every 6 months. I too would like to skip them but my onc feels heart failure is an unnacceptable side effect, and as it can sneak up on you he doesn't want any nasty surprises. Oh well...

I am in study, now on Herceptin only and a Muga is required every 4 months. Would like to thank the person that first recommended CoQ10 - scans have improved.
I have had 2 echocardiograms (4 mos apart) while on herceptin to verify function of my heart. I don't know the difference between this test & a muga, but this one is like an ultrasound...non invasive.
