*GINA* Copper, Magnesium, Zinc levels tied to mortality

The observed association between mortality & copper & the inverse relation with zinc finds some support in the case of cancer based on the findings of controlled copper depletion treatment using either zinc or tetrathiomolybdate to fight angiogenesis.

Dr GJ Brewer has been experimenting with this treatment over several years (both animal & human studies).

Notice this older research paper in the list of Dr Brewer's publications:
Merajver SD, Irani J, van Golen K, Brewer G. Copper depletion as an anti-angiogenic strategy in HER2-neu transgenic mice. Proc AACR Special Conference on Angiogenesis and Cancer, B11, 1998.
