Red face Mdx-010

Has anyone heard of Ipilimumab? It is also called MDX-010 and is produced by a company called Medarex. It is for Melanoma but a completed phase 2 study on breast cancer was also done. I have not been able to find any results on this drug and breast cancer. There seems to be a lot of excitement in the melanoma community about MDX-010.

About MDX-010
MDX-010 is a fully human antibody against human CTLA-4, a molecule on T
cells that is believed to be responsible for suppressing the immune response.
MDX-010 is in clinical studies to investigate its potential to enable the
immune systems of cancer patients to fight tumors. MDX-010 is currently in a
Phase III clinical trial for metastatic melanoma and in multiple Phase II
clinical trials to investigate the product's potential activity in other tumor
types. The potential use of MDX-010 outside oncology is also being explored.

There is a compassionate use trial starting for melanoma and I was interested in contacting Bristol Myers /Squibb to see if they would do a single patient trial for Pat but I wanted to know how the trial went using it for breast cancer. Anyone with info , Thanks Donna
