Biorepository Project -- An Update

Thank you so very much to the 40 women who offered to send in their tumor blocks and associated medical records if and when we stand up a procedure to receive these specimens for research purposes. I am writing to let you know that this project is very much alive and that I attended a meeting about it today. We are still working on the internal logistics and funding issues. I will report back when I have more details to offer up. In the meantime, I so very much appreciate all of you who volunteered to be a part of this exciting project. I am going to bump up my last post in which I described the project in the hopes that others who may not have seen it may also sign on if they choose to do so (the larger the number of donors, the more appealing we are to researchers to take us on).
