Ibrance for Her2+'s and hormone positive

Hi;

Just saw my oncologist today and we discussed my Ibrance, Letrozole treatment. I get scans next month and he wants that confirmation but is convinced, given my lower TM's, that the treatment is working. I will post that information in my other post next month.

In the meantime, I told him that I knew a woman who is her2+ and taking Ibrance/Letrozole. He was very knowledgeable about this and said he has helped with a paper that will be published and presented in December (where is the big cancer symposium then? I can't remember where he said) by an oncologist from Farber in Boston, where he used to work. He was part of the trial and is using it for her2+ patients now. So there is confirmation that this is indeed another option for triple positives.

I am not really having any serious side effects at all and am feeling very good on the drug. It is certainly not like chemo at all.....lol.

god bless,

Cathy
