Peripheral Neuropathy:review & alternative treatments

The following article describes the various forms & causes (including chemo drugs) of peripheral neuropathy. It also proposes non conventional treatments:

Peripheral Neuropathy: Pathogenic Mechanisms and Alternative Therapies

To the general nature of the above article an added look at this older one by Ralph Moss on the more specific case of vitamin E to treat peripheral neuropathy caused by cisplatin chemotherapy

A Big Boost for Antioxidants

None of these alternative treatments has undergone a large scale trial so that conventional medecine is not likely to prescribes them even if there is evidence that some of them may be effective.[/left]

Thanks for the articles Heblaj! I have neuropathy in hands and feet and may try the l-carnitine supplements. 3000 mg seems high so I will start at a lower dosage. Funny thing is that when I was into bodybuilding I used l-carnitine...my.. how life has changed!

Thanks again,Marcia
