Re: PET scan....scared...
Maureen,
We could be twins. Your situation sounds exactly like mine.
Not once did my onc say to quit Herceptin while they tried to figure this out. We Her2 gals need that year of Herceptin. I am proud of you for fighting for it.
The most comfort I got was from my radiation onc. She felt positive the lungs nodules that appeared 3 months after radiation (in the radiated area) was from radiation. The CT was repeated in 3 months and was and is still stable. If it changed we would then have done a biopsy.
They are still trying to figure out the rib fractures, 2+ years later. I think I have reinjured them twice. My radiation onc says I am not the typical patient and hopes they will heal. I would think with two young children and all you do with them, you are not the typical patient either!
I would be happy to talk with you. Just private message me, or e-mail me if you feell the need.
Isn't this website just the best. Thank you Christine and Joe!!!!
Hugs,
Donna
If you want to talk more, private message me and I
