They snap in the bottom like sleepers, but are like an undershirt with attached underwear...or sleepers with no legs...like short leg sleepers.
Oh I am confusing myself!

I think I know what you mean, but I've never heard them called that before.
They are usually worn by babies when they still have "curly" legs.

I remember I opened a pack of onsies at my first baby shower and I didn't know what to call them!! I later called them "The things that are impossible to get off without getting poop on baby's head after a blow out."
