Single Met

Does anyone else have a single met? I'd love to hear your story, what treatment you did etc.

I had two subcentimeter nodules light up in my lungs when I was diagnosed, they were undetected by Cat scan but Pet scan showed them. They were too small to biopsy so we decided to treat them as cancer and treat them aggressively. I am on Taxotere (every 3 weeks), Herceptin (weekly) and Xeloda (14/7). I just did a 6 weeks scan and will see what's happening tomorrow...sherryg683

where is it?

hi, i was just wondering where your single met is? liver? lung? bone? lymph?
different mets are treated differently sometimes, different drugs and all. so it would help to know where it is. any met is scarey enough. just wanted to touch bases and say good luck.

sinlge met

Hi

I had a single liver met (15 mm) which cleared after 3 tx with taxol and herceptin. I had 6 tx (one every three weeks) all up and now am on herceptin alone.

Cheers
