Hi everyone - I finally made my way back to the computer to update everyone on my liver surgery.
On 7/21 they took 50% of my liver( and my gall bladder also) They did have a little difficulty as one of my blood vessels(?) was malformed at birth and my surgeon had to lift the liver and move around in order to cut. Once they were in, they scanned and could again only see the one tumor. My pathology report has not come back as yet but hope to have something when I see my surgeon on Thurs. to remove the staples. I stayed in hospital for (8) day's and feel that everything is coming along as should be. I must say that this surgery took a little harder toll on me this time but all an all, so far so good. I AM HOME AND ALIVE - and so every grateful.
I am having day's when I have more energy then others and those (Like today) that all I want to do is hybernate in front of the T.V. I am sure that a few weeks from now will make a big difference.
