congressmen/women

The reason the stamps were NOT being sold for a while was because it was caught up in red tape on Capital Hill. Our elected officials didn't know if they were going to let the stamps go back on sale. They wasted alot of time and money for our research. I have been buying the stamps also since dx and was surprised when I was told I couldn't get any because they were out of session and until they convined they couldn't sell them until congress approved it.
It's just something I thought I would share and maybe we should keep on top of, so they don't stop selling these stamps. 35 million is alot in research, but what research is it going into??
Does anyone ever think if they put all the money together, that they, or someone might actually find a cure? So many organizations give to different places for awareness, prevention and research that I wonder if it was all pulled into one national campaign, everyone would know about it and could get mams and they could find a cure.
