Esther Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Riverside, CA Posts: 484	Does anyone know how small a mass the pet scan can detect? Just wondering if there is a lower limit. The MRI machine that Cedars-Sinai uses can detect brain lesions as small as 1 mm. Are different pet scan machines more sensitive than others, or do they all have the same limitations?
