Sorry, I can't answer your question about bc mets to the face; I am in a similar situation myself so will be interested to see if anyone knows. I saw the dermatologist a few weeks ago and am going back this Wednesday to have a mole on my abdomen biopsied and a raised area in my hairline removed. Since I have had all three skin cancers removed from various parts of my body, I am assuming that if anything, it will be skin cancer again. I hope it is that simple - skin cancer sounds a lot less frightening than bc skin mets.
I sure hope things turn out okay for you and that this is just a false alarm. Hang in there and try not to panic. I know, easier said than done. Be sure and keep us posted on how everything turns out.

Dx: 11/23/05, Lumpectomy 12/12/05
Tumor 2.2 cm, Stage II, Grade 3, Sentinel Node biopsy negative
ER+ (30%) /PR+ (50%), HER2+++
AC X 4 dose dense, Taxol X 4 dose dense
Herceptin started with 2nd Taxol, given weekly until chemo done
then given every 3 weeks for one year ending on March 16, 2007
Radiation 30 treatments
Tamoxifen - 2 yrs (pre-menopausal)
May 2008 - Feb 2012 Femara
Aug 2008 - Feb 2012 Zometa every 6 months
March 2012 - Stop Femara, now Evista for bone strengthening
