Great MRI result!!

For those who haven't heard my saga with brain mets to date... 12 mm lesion in cerebellum found in 01/06, treated via cyberknife, it regrew, and removed surgically 03/07.

Stubborn little cancer cells, were starting to regrow again, and was at 8 mm when it was treated via Gamma Knife 9/24/07.

MRI yesterday showed that the lesion is now at 1mm and the rest of the brain is clear. So the neurologist thinks the Gamma Knife worked this time!

We will follow up in 3 months, and I plan to be NED from brain mets at that point!!! I am on Tykerb now also, perhaps the combination of Gamma knife and the extra effort put in by the Tykerb are knocking out this pesky mets lesion for good.
