Madame Madubois, and all the others

Hello all,

The eloquent tributes posted here when someone dies are amazing and moving. So amazing that I wish there were a place just for the tributes. Wouldn't it be a nice gift, for the list and for the loved ones of the person who has passed on, if there were a tribute or memorial section? That way, the important and needed discussions about listmembers' grief and fear could go on, and be supported, while the beautiful words of tribute could have their own special place.

I know this has been discussed before and there's been resistance. Do you think it would help if the pages had a different title - perhaps "tributes" instead of "memorials"? Heck, we could open it to tributes to the living too - I'm sure there would be many of those.

With awe and appreciation for all of you who so lovingly post the stories and the tributes.
