I have learned that Oncogene does not have the licensing requirements to bring the Bayer Serum Her2 test into Canada and does not intend to get them. This test will not be available to us!!! This is extremely disappointing and infuriating. I have passed along this information which came directly from Dako to Joe but have not had a response from him as yet. I was hoping he could get further information from his contacts at Oncogene but we do perhaps represent a relatively small market for this company. I have recently read about Bristol-Myers Squibb Canada which refuses to market its colorectal drug Erbitux in Canada because it can't get the price it wants. Here is a link to this story

I have not given up and will keep you informed of any progress I have in getting this very necessary test. If anyone out there has any information please post.
